As a first port of call in designing my promotional website, I wanted to see what's going on in the world of web design in 2012. There's some really interesting points made that have definitely made me think about this project. For example, the small section on smartphones is making me think that creating a mobile version of the website I plan to make would be a nice extra.
I feel that keeping on top of design trends, even if not necessarily relevant to your project can be a helpful to stay on top of what's going on in the design world. It's also important to make the most of the ever changing technology to make sure you've got the best website you could make.
